Party of 50 Cents
Everyone in mainland must has heard a name 'party of 50 cents' which is 5毛党 in Chinese. This group of people write article on line in order to praise some organizations or things and get reward from that organization or company. In general, these people get 50 cents for one article so we call them 'Party of 50 Cents'. There is great demand of 'Party of 50 Cents' that we often receive messages from strangers on social media platform say ' Do you want to earn money just at home? There is a good job for you!'. Usually that advertisement is to recruit people to write high evolution on goods in Taobao shops. Basically there is a rule named 'Winner Takes All', consumers like to choose goods have highest volume of sales and highest evolution. So shop owners employ some people to make their shops look like very popular and have high quality. This phenomenon can date back to last few classes teacher taught us that people's feeling and conscious would dramatically influenced by others. As people's vigilance is more and more strong, most of the time they can detect which is real comment and which is not wisely. Benefit derived from this cheating actions is decreasing.

The Effect of Social Media to Individual Psychology
We had an interesting test in the class to study of group psychology at the beginning of last class. Luckily, most of my classmates were honest to themselves and made their own choices without others' misleading. However, people can not do such things as good as my classmates in contemporary society.
Why I emphasize this phenomenon in contemporary society? Because the more convenient of social contact is, people are more likely to have conformity. Maybe this statement is far-fetched, but to a certain extent, the development of social media make it more easier for individual to know others' opinions, or know the most popular opinion, which can affect people's choices readily.
Nowadays, the group psychology is prevalent on the Internet. In some social media, there are all one-sided comments, the one who has different idea would be attacked by others, so more and more people follow the crowd. This usually appear in the group of young people, which is not a good phenomenon for future world.

Derivatives of Micro-blog
According to the last blog, we know the number of users of micro-blog is very large now, so micro-blog has become the biggest online social media in Mainland China. In this big platform, many derivative products appear and become popular, micro-blog is not only a tradition sense of online social media any more.
The users of micro-blog can be not only a single person, but also a organization or a company. For example, in micro-blog,,the news agency like CCTV often posts the latest news, the shop like Watsons often posts their new goods and new activities, the company like XIAOMI often posts their new products. So in micro-blog, we can glance over almost everything at the same time, and we can comment and see others' comments in it or discuss.
By the micro-blog, a new way of marketing called Micro-Marketing comes out.Every user can post the pictures of goods on their own micro-blog and communicate with the people who are interesting to the goods. Because every audience is potential marketee, if one person in ten people decide to buy them, this will bring big profit.

From Blog to Micro-blog--The Development of Online Social Medias in Mainland China
Several years ago, Sina.com provided a service called blog in the Internet. During its early years, few people knew it and almost nobody used it. This small group people used it to write diaries and keep photos. However, they usually did not know each other, so it was very hard for one to visit another's website, which caused few interactions and communications took place on it. Besides, the things that post on the blog were regularly a whole essay or a series of photos, it was not convenient that people had to sit in front of computer for a long time to post a blog. The first time I used it was in the year 2007, to see the travelling photos of my friends, and it was also the last time.
In 2009, a new social media called micro-blog came out, also was provided by Sina.com, but in this time it really made different. Firstly, micro-blog was an app in the mobile phone, and unlike blog, it did not need to write a whole essay, what to write could be a sentence, a photo and even an emoticon, so people can post it whenever like in a few minutes. More importantly, it could be related to contacts on the phone, so one could easily become another's follows and comment on it, which was called interaction.
For the reasons mentioned above, the number of users of micro-blog is much bigger that of blog, so micro-blog has become the biggest online social media. In this big platform, many derivative products such as micro-blog shop appear and become popular, micro-blog is not only a tradition sense of online social media. I will talk about this next time.
